EBC7101: That’s a Wrap!

By | May 26, 2017

The three-week intensive course EBC7101 (Research Workshop in E-Business) has now come to an end. I had a great bunch of graduate students (mostly M.Sc. and some Ph.D.) who were working on their research projects and theses in a variety of areas ranging from healthcare analytics, open data, e-learning communities, cross-border e-commerce, online consumer reviews text-mining, and agile project management.

With 22 students, the enrollment this year was somewhat higher than the previous years that I have taught this course, but I had a lot of fun teaching the course. It’s always interesting to learn about research domains outside of my own areas of expertise, and I’m looking forward to next year’s course offering already!

While many students were attending this course before embarking on their research projects, some were taking it to refresh their knowledge of research design and methods while working on their research. I hope the course was useful to all these students, and I wish them the best of luck with their future research endeavours.
