As discussed in a previous blog post, my research article on enterprise gamification recently got picked up by GamEffective – a market leader in gamification platforms for employee performance and learning.
I was delighted to learn that GamEffective identifies with many of the findings from my research. The company has written about my research on their website, and even adapted the descriptive framework proposed in my paper to explain the features and functions of their own platform.
As a follow-up to my article, the company hosted me in their June webinar where I summarized my research for the webinar participants. With around 200 participants, this was an opportunity for me to share my research with the industry and receive feedback from them. I continue to receive some great comments and questions via email.
This is an area of research that I plan to continue pursuing for some time to come. I’m going to be engaging with other solution providers in this space as well as organizations that are exploring gamification for their own business needs.
